Matador Jiu-Jitsu

The club was started by a CSUN alumnus and 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu instructor. After a two-year hiatus, the club was reformed and is now instructed by black belt Eric "The Darce Knight" Medina, under Jean Jacque Machado, and Jose "Animal" Arreguin, a brown belt under 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu. We strive to promote an active lifestyle, discipline, self-defense and new friendships through the “gentle art” known as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We also participate in collegiate events in both gi and no-gi grappling; competing in tournaments is not required but encouraged.
